Happy Birthday Junkland!
Today is the one-year anniversary of the day I released my first book, Junkland, the first book in The Hoarding series. It is also the day I became an official author, beginning a wild journey. November 7th, 2017 will forever be engraved in my head as one of the greatest accomplishments in my life.
Join me this week as I celebrate this special milestone. All week I will be partying and sharing the history of Junkland, including:

Today is more than just a birthday. It’s the point in my life when I decided to take a chance and follow my dreams; it led me to where I am right now, typing this post as I sit in a wonderful school in Spain where I teach English to students. And I want to share this experience in the hopes of inspiring someone else to follow a dream that’s been building deep within, waiting to burst out.
Tomorrow I will start from the beginning and tell the story of how a guy, who studied engineering and mathematics, developed an interest in writing.
