New Song: That Summer With You

Ohhhh man am I proud of this song. The chorus just fills me with so much angst and energy and feels when I sing it. And that level of feeling I search for is the reason why I keep at it, writing songs filled with emotion.

And the best part of being a songwriter is playing these songs live to see if these feelings have the same affect on the audience. I can always tell if people are connecting with a song. Usually when it happens, there’s a long pause at the end of the song before a grand applause. This shows me that people are truly caught up in their own feelings as they connect with my music. Either that or they just think I stink lol.

Either way, this song will definitely be added to my set list. I can’t wait to play this one live to see what kind of affect it has on my listeners.
