I just posted a new song on SoundCloud! I wrote To Hold You Like Him in September 2023. I knew I was going to see an ex-girlfriend at my friend’s wedding in September. I had never seen an ex-girlfriend after a breakup before, and this breakup in particular didn’t end very well. So of course I had a bunch of feels running through me bumping into her again. And I knew deep down that I wanted to write a song about it. I wrote the chorus to this song moments after the wedding.

I remember playing this song back in the fall right before dinner. My brother walked by and said, “Way to end on a banger!”, thinking I was playing a cover. I told him I wrote that song, and he was extremely shocked. I hope you enjoy it just as much 🙂
