I was honored to sign copies of my latest poetry book The Cost of Becoming Me at my local Barnes & Noble this September!
I’ve been going to this bookstore ever since I was a kid, and it was such a cool experience getting to sell my own books there! I had an awesome time connecting and getting to chat with local readers.
One of the coolest moments of the signing was when one reader came back after purchasing my book to tell me they flipped open my book to a random poem and told me how much that poem resonated with them. We ended up reading the poem together, which led to a wonderful conversation about life. That moment made it all worth it!
Here’s the poem:
The corporate man has to make a wish
To make all his dreams come true
So the corporate man huffed and puffed
And stopped!
His dreams were too scary to pursue
My poetry book is still available at the Barnes & Noble in Paramus, New Jersey. So if you’re local, be sure to go check it out! And if not, you can buy it on Amazon. I appreciate all of your support!
